Child Care, Katrina Recovery
OCT. 5, 2005 | The U.S. Child Care Bureau has issued a two-page
tip sheet for use in discussions of the role of early care and
education in the economic recovery from Hurricane Katrina.
Targeted to economic developers, the tip sheet explains, “child
care contributes many short- and long-term benefits to the
community.” It contains links to several related web sites.
The tip sheet and other information about Katrina recovery are
available on the bureau’s
web site.
